Welcome to the RubyWorld Conference. This year, as usual, the RubyWorld Conference will be held in Matsue. We cordially invite you to join us here and interact face-to-face with other attendees and discover what is currently going on in the Ruby community. We believe that the inspiration you will receive from direct interaction with others will positively impact the future of Ruby.

Ruby’s achievements are backed by its reliability and stability, and it is now used around the world to deliver many essential services. Still, Ruby continues to evolve. If you keep up with the core Ruby community, you will see that numerous updates are made to Ruby daily, with suggestions and improvements continuously being implemented for a better future. You will be able to feel the dynamic nature of the Ruby programming language and its active community.

This conference, which will provide a bird’s-eye view of the Ruby ecosystem, will feature presentations showcasing the future of the Ruby community. Please come and see what the Ruby community is doing to shape the future rather than just waiting for it to unfold.

This year, we are honored to welcome Mr. Eugen Rochko as our keynote speaker. As the creator of Mastodon, a social networking service powered by Ruby on Rails, Mr. Rochko will share his insights on the platform’s current state and its rising prominence as a compelling alternative to Twitter (now X).
